Overview

Benold Middle School was originally opened in the fall of 1996 on Northwest Boulevard and named after Dr. Douglas Benold, a medical doctor in the Georgetown community and former school board trustee. 

 

In 2024, a new Benold was opened with funds from the 2021 Bond package in the Parmer Ranch neighborhood.  Old Benold MS will be repurposed as a new Frost Elementary School to expand capacity for the district's smallest elementary campus.
